I began my career by studying in my spare time before moving into a mortgage administration role with a local firm. This hands‑on experience gave me a solid foundation in supporting mortgage advisors and helping clients secure their dream homes. It also allowed me to work closely with a wide range of lenders and solicitors, giving me a deep understanding of how the full mortgage process works behind the scenes.

Before entering the mortgage industry,

I spent six years in the construction and home improvement sector, selling bathrooms and heating supplies. This background means I bring practical, real‑world knowledge of property renovations, an advantage for anyone planning to update or improve their home.

I also own a buy‑to‑let property myself,

so I understand the process from both sides and can confidently support clients exploring buy‑to‑let mortgages

for the first time.

I am CeMAP and CaRER qualified, covering both mortgage advice and equity release, and I also hold an AAT qualification. These credentials ensure I provide accurate, compliant, and fully informed guidance across all areas of mortgage advice, including equity release and remortgaging.

I founded CSM Mortgages with one clear purpose: to help people find their dream home and get over the finish line with confidence.

 

Buying a property can be one of the most stressful experiences you’ll ever face, and having bought and sold several homes myself, I know what a difference the right advisor makes. My goal is to give every client the smoothest, most supportive experience possible  from first conversation to final completion.
